Nowadays, the world seems to revolve around data and statistics, so it's very useful to understand the basics. The two main types are Qualitative and Quantitative data, and both are used widely both in professional and personal data studies. Qualitative is anything that is described, whereas quantitative is anything that be counted. Both contain their pros and cons, as well as their individual analysis techniques.
