Dr. James Hupp, DMD, MS

Earning his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984, Dr. Hupp continued to practice general dentistry in the US Navy till 1993. He pursued his endodontic residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his Master of Science degree in 1996. By 2003, he was recognized as a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Retiring from the US Naval Reserves in 2009 with the rank of Captain, Dr. Hupp’s educational contributions have been substantial. His achievements include being honored as the Clinical Instructor of the Year and inducted into the Nelson Order in 2011 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. At present, he serves as the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and Patient Care and the Director of Endodontics at Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. His current academic focus centers on the Micro-CT evaluation of various instrumentation techniques.
